CMM 541 - Bright-Field Microscopy

Course Description: CMM 541 considers fundamentals and theory of Bright-Field microscopy as well as several modes of bright-field microscopy, including standard bright-field, phase contrast, polarized light, and differential interference contrast microscopy.  This three course series present important tools in biomedical research and in medical practice.  Students pursuing many fields in medicine will benefit from an understanding of these very versatile tools.  Note that Bright-field microscopy is a prerequisite for Fluorescence microscopy and Digital imaging.
