Course Description: CMM 542 builds off of the information presented in Bright-Field microscopy and Fluorescence microscopy to examine the fundamentals of digital imaging, including a section on ethics. These courses present important tools in biomedical research and in medical practice. Students pursuing many fields in medicine will benefit from an understanding of these very versatile tools. Note that Bright-field microscopy (CMM 541) is a prerequisite for Fluorescence microscopy and Digital imaging.
