Course Description: CMM 546 builds off of the fundamentals and theories of Bright-Field microscopy to examine fluorescence microscopy, another powerful research tool. These courses present important tools in biomedical research and in medical practice. Students pursuing many fields in medicine will benefit from an understanding of these very versatile tools. Note that Bright-field microscopy (CMM 541) is a prerequisite for both Fluorescence microscopy and Digital imaging.
