Dr. O'Brien received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in medical anatomy from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She joined University of Arizona from Oklahoma State University's Center for Health Sciences in 2022, where her research and teaching focused on neuroanatomy and advancing novel methods for imaging the central nervous system.
